Postbridge Family Dog Show

dog show

Every year there is a Family Dog Show in Postbridge Village.

There are usually 16 fun classes with rosettes to 6th place and trophies for class winners.
Each entrant receives some treats for their dog.
Entry fees are £1 and all the proceeds go to charity each year.

The Show is held in the field opposite the Village Shop and adjacent to the ancient clapper bridge. There are toilets in the National Park car park across the road from the field.  Entries are from 12:30, judging from 13:30.

The 2013 Family Dog Show was held on Sunday 28th July.  Thank you to everyone who supported the dog show and raffle. We raised the grand total of £600 for the Cinnamon Trust.
Thank you to our Judge, Rita Lawrence, who had 265 entries in 16 classes.

Thanks also to Tom Webb who cleared the ring area for us:

Due to a change in our circumstances there are no plans to hold a Postbridge Dog Show after 2013.
The last 7 years the proceeds have been donated to the Cinnamon Trust.
The total raised was £3686.00.
Many thanks for your past support.
